Engage humanity. That is the tagline I came up with and I still love it. It was for an Australian company called Whispir that is in the communications space. I was working with them on a massive brand development project last year and worked directly with Jeromy Wells, the creative, smart and kind CEO of the company.
We spent hours upon hours on the phone and Skype as we bounced ideas around. They wanted something bold, visionary and vibrant; something that really set them apart from their competitors. Jeromy and his graphic design agency get credit for the bold blue dot and the super interesting visual treatment on their website — masterpiece paintings with blue dots that fade in and out.
“Engage humanity” is one of those gems that I wish I could use for my own business, but, alas, it was for Whispir and they retain rights.
I also came up with the line, “When you Whispir, people listen.” It seems so obvious, but took some time to get there. We all listen a little more closely when people start to whisper. It is often when the really juicy information get transferred. Whispir is using both this line and the tagline prominently. That gives me deep satisfaction.
I love brand work. The more the better. Bring it on.
