My Fascination with the Space Industry

October 25, 2022 By Gaby Adam

I have a fascination with the space industry and want to work with more clients in that area. Over the last few years, I have been watching well-done Netflix documentaries about SpaceX missions and some entertaining fictional programs about going to Mars. I also read the enjoyable and accessible book, “The End of the Astronauts: Why Robots are the Future of Exploration,” by Donald Goldsmith and Martin Rees, which gave me a great overview of the amazing things happening in space exploration and where we are headed in the future.  [ Read More ]

PR for Robotics Companies

December 16, 2021 By Gaby Adam

I am fascinated by the robotics and drone space and have been working with companies developing great things in this industry for many years. Most of my work with them includes broader marketing communications as well as PR. As noted in my earlier blog on this topic, it all began in the spring of 2016 when I started working with the bright and talented team at WiBotics to get the word out about their wireless power for the robotics industry. That led to working with the smart team at Aerovel, makers of the Flexrotor long-range robotic aircraft (a high-end drone). Both became long-term clients, and we were able to accomplish a lot together for their respective companies.  [ Read More ]

Hello Amsterdam

October 17, 2018 By Gaby Adam

I recently returned from a 10-day trip to Amsterdam. What a lovely city!  I mainly went there for work – to check out the design influences, understand their impressive city rebranding campaign, talk to a robotics company and a variety of other business-related pursuits. I saw Banksy and Icy & Sot at Moco, their modern art museum, and Fukase at Foam, their main photography museum. And I saw the big “I Amsterdam” sign (more on that later) in front of the famous Rijksmuseum.  [ Read More ]

PR for Robotics Companies

December 5, 2016 By Gaby Adam

I have been interested in doing PR for robotics companies for many years. Just ask my friend Tandy Trower, former head of robotics at Microsoft and founder of Hoaloha Robotics, a company creating companion robots to enable seniors to live more active and independent lives. When I sent Tandy various media articles over the years, he delighted me with long email responses that helped educate me about the industry. I am grateful that he shared this knowledge and provided years of encouragement. In 2016, I have had the honor and privilege of working with three amazing robotics companies.  [ Read More ]
